Converting subtitles from DivX to DVD

Hi.

Im in a situation, where I would like a .sub or microdvd subtitles file converted into something, so that it can be included directly into the VIDEO_TS directory, and add the extra option via ifoedit.

But DOES there exist such a tool. THe closest I could come to it, was a program that could show the subtitles via some directShow layer ontop of a dvd movie being played.

As far as I know the subs on a dvd are in BMP format. They're just pictures of words. So you would probably have to take your text file and somehow convert each sub back into a picture. I don't know of any programs that do this. But maybe this will help you a little.
