    Having a problem with FLASKMPEG!!!!!!!!

    I have a problem with Flaskmpeg. When I want to open a certain ifo file it says that "an error ocurred when opening the file ". I tried to merge all the vobs files but then I take instead of the proper lenght movie a smaller lenght movie. What I must do in order to open the ifo file? Suggestions needed!

    Which version of Flask are you using?

        I believe that you need to install the "Thunder_mism" (or similar plugin) in order to select "Open DVD' (using the .IFO file), as was available (built-in) on earlier versions of Flask through 0.594.

        Let us know of your success ;>}

            Have you tried opening the first .vob? When I do this on Flask it identifies the audio and video streams that are available. You just have to check you don't get different audio/video streams at different points. I had to use this method on Planet of the Apes, cos I kept getting a similar error when opening the .ifo!

            Hope this helps

              I do this with the first vob but it comes up with two video streams which when I used them I had the same results. For example I had the same problem with "Dinosaur" and I scrambled all the vobs and I was done, but with this movie (Miss Congeniality) I don't know what I must do.

                Get the subtitles fix for flask0.6.
                open ifo file instead of first vob.
                if this fails try ripping the file with smartripper in backup mode.

                AFAIK this has never failed.

                    I tried the subtitle fix and the smartripper but nothing. Propably I have to check my system allover again. If you have other proposals please post them.

                      Try a clean install of flask0.6 without the thunder.mism plugin then apply the subtitles fix.
