I have a couple of DivX movies. When I play them (with MS Media Player 9 or BSPlayer) the playback on the PC monitor looks okay.
I use a Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead with 32 Mb. The secondary output goes to a 32" Widescreen Philips 100Hz PAL-TV.
Playback freezes every 5 seconds for a couple of milliseconds. It is with both players (MS and BS). Audio is also not sync, but that might be caused by the soundcard I use (Digidesign Digi 001 with WaveDrivers).
I have G400 filter installed, but that didn't fix a thing. Also the Tsunami pack installed.
Could the problem be the fact that the movies are in 23,96 fps (or something like that) and not 25 fps which is used in Europe.
I am desperately looking for a good DivX playback solution. Anyone?
