I'm trying to record exactly what i see on my deskt top into a video (mpeg or avi or any thing that plays : ) ... i'm trying to record the dancers that dance on the screen in Microsoft Digital Media Edition so that I can slow motion them.

Are there any programs that would allow me to do this. i know there have got to be programs that allow you to take picture of what is displayed on your computer screen so there have got to be ones that do video>... please help : )

Screen capture software such as "Camtasia" or "Snag-it" (search google.com for more) should afford you this capability.

Windows Media Encoder 9 also has that feature.
