I got a problem with AVI file, Please Help me!

I was trying to start an AVI File I downloaded from the net and when I open it with Windows Media Player I can not see picture only hear the Sound and when I open it with BSPLAYER it's says "Unknown File Format AVRN. "

What Can I do to make it work?

load the file in GSpot and read what it says, virtualdub will also provide the same information, virtualdub>open file>file information.
most probably you are missing a codec.
use tsunami codec and filter pack, that should take care of most of your playback problems.

I tried Virtual Dub but I couldnt open the file, so I download GSpot and it wont open it's says "ERORR OPENINING DATA" and ERORR PROCESSING CODEC DATA BASE GSPOT"
so the only thing I know that I have an AVRN file and that I need the right codec for it. I downloaded the Filter Pack but which codec should I installed? There are lot's of them and I am afraid it wont be good for my Computer to install all of them.
