Dat to AVI

Hi

I extracted DAT file from a VCD into my hard drive. i wanna use it as a footage in video editing program.

i have changed the extention from DAT to AVI but the editing program still doesnt rcognize it as a media file.

any seggestions?

Simply changing the extension doesn't change the file format. Use VirtualDub to change to .AVI...
