problem with dreamworks dvd

someone please tell me where my problem lies
my dreamworks dvds play very jerky is it dreamworks or my samsung combi drive even when i play the vob files on my computer from a dreamworks dvd its still jerky also when its encoded
i have no problem with other makes of dvds

please help
