mpeg &.wmv jerky, but divx ok?

Can someone tell me why is my mpeg movies and wmv files keep on skipping when I play them? .

This happenned when I installed some ripping softwares.

And theres a red clock icon that appears in the bottom right of my screen.

Pls help..

Sounds like a filter is running in the background. When that clock is running press Ctrl+ALT=Delete and identify the icon

that red clock must be a soft by the name of reclock.

no, actually it is NOT adware/spyware.

the sole purpose of this ds filter was the opposite of what happens to bojo, but read for yourself:
