Does Creative DVD-Rom Sucks ?

i bought 16x creative PCDVD the day before yesterday and till then watched 4 dvds, in all dvds im having these problems..

1: after playing for little longer like 30 min or more dvd stucks like a vcd and then resums.
2: after stucks it does not resume , instead i hav to stop the dvd program and play agian and it will play smooth.
3laying thoses scens again doesnt stucks.
4: once it restart the pc after stucking video
iv ussed all power dvd, windvd and nvdvd

Are you viewing authentic commercial dvd's?

What software player are you using to playback these dvd's?

It may be possible that the dvd media or drive itself may be "dirty" or damaged.

If you are playing original, commercial DVDs and your pc gear is working as it should (set up and functioning correctly); installing the latest drivers for the DVD ROM and your G4 might solve your problems. Go to the Creative and nvidea web sites and download their latest drivers. If this doesn't solve the problem you could be experiencing buffer under/over runs. Try swapping the DVD ROM from primary to secondary or vice versa.
