cant install ffdshow :(

Okay i rebuilt (upgrade) both of my pc running win 2k and xp, i had ffdshow running on both of them before. and it was working like a charm..
now on BOTH machines when i try to install ffdshow it gives me an error saying "dll not found on any of these location..winnt,wint......bla bla bla"
what is up with that?! can anyone please help me!

Download the required DLL file from here. Put it in the \Windows\System folder.

one question though, i didnt have to do this the last time i installed ffdshow (on my previous installations) why this time??

It's part of a standard "library" that's included with many programs. You probably had it installed from another program on your previous setup...
