Software for cutting mpeg2

Hi,

since some day´s I´m searching for a (free or cheap) simple software to cut mpeg2 files. No effekts are needed: Just trim start and end and exclude some parts inside and then output an mpeg2 file with the same res, fps and so on. I´ve serveral software and demos. Some progranms crash, others don´t sync audio, others don´t support mpeg2, others try to convert and render,... .
I´ve found some software for DVD authoring with the mentioned functions, but they produce a .vob file for every clip.

Has somebody other experiences.

Hi,

first I want to thank for Your answer and give some information on my experiences with the suggestions.

1. ChopperXP: It Seems it processes only .vob. .mpg can be viewed, but output with .mpg was not successful.

2. MPEG2CUT: The file seemed to small to do the purpose, but it seem´s to function. I´ve to test it with bigger files,...
