Dynamic/Automatic AVI Creation

I am looking for software that would automatically create AVI movies based on still images within a directory (PC-based). I am not even sure if such software exists. The ideal solution would be totally hands-free, and would constantly scan a specified directory for new still images. When it finds a new image, it would be automatically added to the end of the AVI. Does anyone know if there is such a solution. I have not had any luck finding anything.

Video-Mach turns pictures into a movie. I use this to make my CS movies; however it doesn't recheck directories for new files. I don't know of a program that would do this for you, so I guess you're stuck with my half-assed answer
