VirtualDub Missing Tab

I just dnled Virtualdub 1.5.1.1a so I could edit one of my avi movies following the instructions in the "beginners start here"thread. In the tutorial it has an audio tab, but it doesn't show up when I open Vdub. I looked through the options and still don't see how to do this. Can someone tell me how to get this tab to show up or do I need to get a different version of Vdub?

If the version you are using has it, click on the "Streams" dropdown menu...

Yes go to "Streams"

Then click on "Stream List" to add, edit, or remove audio streams

Tried it, but can't pick anything, like its turned off. Tried under video, direct stream(like the tutorial says), and still nothing.

Just click Add.

If nothing is listed there are no streams within the file besides video.

Also if you want to "Direct Stream" When you click on Save as you should see the option of Full Processing mode or Direct Stream Copy
