alternative to TMPGENC

does anybody know of a decent alternative to TMPEGenc as it keeps on comming up with errors when i try to make SVCD files

Cinema Craft Encoder ($$$)

bbMPEG & AVI2MPG2

DVD2MPG

FlaskMPEG Encoder

DVD2SVCD (needs TMPGEnc or CCE)
