i got a movie encoded in mp43 and the video is out of sync Video ends faster than audio in the file. could the reason be installing NimoCodec Pack? coz before, mp43 moviez played ok.

The mp43 codec is the original microsoft codec. By installing the nimo codec pack, you shoudl've installed this codec, however, try getting the DivX 3.11 codec.

what did you do with the encoding?? is this a DVD format to AVI format conversion or what?? what software are you using?? i'm quite sure it's not the codec that has the problem, rather, it is the software. If you use virtual dub, you can change the frame rate so that audio and video match each other. that's the only thing came up to my mind right now... unless if that's not the case, which means, you have to be more detailed with the description
