2.0 crashes my PC?

Hi everyone

Ive been using 2.0 with great succes on my older pc with win 98.
I know the program well.

I just downloaded to my newer pc (win xp,256 ram p4 ect) and once I start backing up to hd it crashes my pc about 3 to 10% into the backup.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
