Need help! no sound

Hi, I just got some new divx movies and one of them has no sound....when i try and run it i see that it trys to download the windows midea sound codec fails and starts the movie with out sound...I can play just about any other divx movie but this one....any ideas? new codes, bad set up, or need a new player "i'm useing windows media player 7.1"

I'm for 90% sure that you are missing the ac3 codec

Download and install it and if you still are having problems then come back with more information about whatever you can think of

thank you the ac3 codec fixed it....i think i was that one anyway...couldn't find that one codec so i get a 6 Mb codec pack all is good now thanx man your a life saver

a 6 MB codec pack ................WoW, mine is "only" 1.12Mb; just out of curiosity Which one ?

Thanks anyway for responding; it was just ourt of curiosity and as soon as i can get the homepage of that codec i'm curious to seen what they have in the package (and why it is so big)

Anyway it works for you and that is the only thing that counts; lots of AUDIO-pleasure
