    Burning a DVD

I have shrunk, decrypted and selected the features I want from a DVD. But I am unclear about what to do next to burn the reauthored DVD.

    Thanks much for your help.

"I have shrunk, decrypted and selected the features"

If by this you mean that you now have a set of files residing on your hard drive, including VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.BUP, as well as other .IFOs and .BUPs and .VOBs - then the question is what burning software are you using?

If you are using NERO, select the "DVD-Video" mode and place ALL of the above-mentioned files into the RED "VIDEO_TS" folder - then burn.

If you are using other burning software, you may have to CREATE both the "VIDEO_TS" folder (and put ALL of the files into it), as well as (cautionary) an empty "AUDIO_TS" folder - then burn.

It is IMPERATIVE that the folder names be in ALL CAPITAL letters!

      Thank you so much.

I'm using Roxio, and I don't know how to use it to burn a DVD, except for a direct copy from another DVD. That is, I can't figure our how to burn just DVD files.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks again.
