check the homepage of your mainboard manufacturer.
they might be able to provide you with an
appropriate Aspi driver for your system or at least
with the information which one to use.

    good luck!

you can either have a look
in the papers that came with your computer to find out
what kind of main board you have or you can do
a googlesearch in the internet on your computer model.
and review some test results or vendor descriptions.

you can also boot your computer a new and
see what it states at the very beginning before the
basic in and output setting as well as drive recognition
is processed. there the mainboard description along with the revision number will appear. but you have to be very quick
and you have to use the "pause key" on your keyboard
to halt the boot up process. otherwise it will pass by so quickly that you don´t have a chance to take a glance on it.

you can also post your computer model description in here
and enable me to assist in your search.

        EDIT:
I am assuming that you run windows as OS and you have
        IDE drives.

have you checked out the movie before you burned it to dvd
how it plays from your hard disk your hard disk????

does this problem occur in your PC dvd drive as well as in your standalone player if you try to play your recorded DVD???
