    iviaudio.ax-Mplayer2

By deleting all iviaudio.ax and ivivideo.ax from the win 98 operating system I got Mplayer2 to play continueous, without time scale though. Its is using PowerDVD ax files I presume. However I cannot play AVI or movie files. The scale will move but no audio or video.

    And you did this because...???

"However I cannot play AVI or movie files."

Removal of those two filters could only adversely affect the playing of audio (not video) on .AVIs with .AC3 sound. If by movies you are referring to .MOV (Quicktime) videos, they should not be affected in any way.
