Question on best dvd moviemaker???

HI ALL

I am trying to see if theres any better software to burn mpeg1,mpeg2 avi and vcd to dvd-r's.

i have all of ulead s/w (aka dvd workshop, videostudios 7, ulead moviemaker)

know i just burned freddy vs jason to dvd-r with moviemaker and it came out pretty good..
i am just lookin for any bigger or better and FASTER s/w that i can try out.

P.S.
WHY CAN'T I FIT 2 MOVIES ON ONE DVD-R????
when i open the mpeg file it only says 859 mb but when i open it in ulead s/w it says its like 1.8 gbs??????

use the avisynth frameserver and CINEMA CRAFT ENCODER.

for simple aspectratio calculations use FITCD.

this is the FASTEST method that I know when it comes to converting!!!
