    Divx 5.05 problem (bitrate)

I am using "VideoMach" to change hundreds of BMP images into a movie file.

When I set it up for DiVx and goto the settings, it will only let me go up to a bitrate of 4000 - where as DiVx says it should be able to goto 10000. My movies do not come out in good quality at all. I tried it with the xvid codec which let me goto 10000, and it looked great, but xvid isn't compatible with my video editor.

Any idea why it wont let me go past 4000?

          Hi!

The reason why u can't set a bitrate>4000k is because u're using the "standard profile", so go to the "DivX codec properties" window and, on "profiles", uncheck "choose your profile".

This way the max bitrate is 16000K

          Good luck!
