Change the position of the subtitle

    Dear friends.
I'm adding fixed subtitles in my videos using the VirtualDub, filter "subtitler".
OK, the proccess is very easy to do, but the subtitle apprear up the video.
The video is in wide-screen mode and I want to put the subtitle in the black part (bottom) of it.
    How I do This?
Thanks and sorry about my bad english.

In your Subtitle.SSA file have something like this -find it:

    [V4 Styles]
Format: Name, Fontname, Fontsize, PrimaryColour, SecondaryColour, TertiaryColour, BackColour, Bold, Italic, BorderStyle, Outline, Shadow, Alignment, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, AlphaLevel, Encoding
    Style: s2s_def_sub_set,Zurich Ex BT,22,&HFFFFFF,&H00FFFF,&H00FFFF,0,-1,0,1,5,0,2,1,1,32,0,238
    Style: s2s.def.sub.set,Zurich Ex BT,22,&HFFFFFF,&H00FFFF,&H00FFFF,0,-1,0,1,5,0,6,1,1,3,0,238

You need option ALIGNMENT (1 is down left, 2 down center .....)
Change the number and watch the result in VDub.

Lopes if you dont mind i will use your post for asking a question for advanced members:

Is it posible to burn subtitle in movie ( using VirtualDub and subtitle filter) with black bar behind the text?

        Why i want this?

If you have movie with subtitle burned before with language diferent then yours and you want to put subtitle on your language on top of that one, you could see letters or even part of words behind it. I want to put black bar behind my subtitle to cover subtitle on movie.

If it is posible what is the procedure?

I think this could be also interesting for you Lopes.

        With best wishes.

        THANKS

Haven't really tried... but I think (suspect) that VobSub can do the job...
