DVD Burner Help...TEMPGnc. Stuff up..

Some one please help me oyt, i need help with ripping dvd's im so far using EZ DVD to VCD, first i ripped the VOB files, then something where I put all the VOB files together and make a*.d2v file as well as a Wav file, this took me 3 hrs. But in the next step when in TNPGenc. When i try and load the d2v file as the video input it says d2v cannot open or unspported, the audio loads fine but d2v doesn't. Help please oh yah the d2v file is like 470Kb in size whereas the wav is 1.5Gb in size is that alright or suspicious.

Hi there, i h avent used thta particular particular converting program before, BUT, once you have riped the VOB's to your hard drive try using DVD2AVI to split the audio and video to AVI. These two files should then load into TMPGEnc fine .

And yes the audio file and video file sound about right but not sure why the video file wont laod into TMPGEnc. What exactely is the error you getting ? Have you installed the plug-in for TMPGEnc ? And is this the first DVD you have backed up ?

Have you also made sure to load the .vfp into the registry that comes with the tmpeg program? I had the same problem. also if you are using the dvd2vcd program that has 4 steps, 3 of which are put in nice and easy to select programs - make sure you have the lastest version.

dont know what hes onabout look first get smart ripper,
to rip dvd choose files then there will be a list of vob files and ifo files
select only the files that have ifo_1_0
vob_1_0
vob_1_1

and theres another with the inf files these arent exact words but you will know.

then use flask mpeg to convert the dvd files by going to file open media and select the ifo file ignor the vob files

after a while you will have a working divx avi ready to turn into vcd with nero
