I'm trying to locate and download www.unitedstahls.com but I cannot find it in internet. It's business is involved in the VCD, movies, films and videos field.
Can anyone help me?
First, I am trying to download the site, then if possible, if I can buy permission, I wish to download the movies. Will p2p help me find the site; I, perhaps, am so ignorant that I didn't know one needed software to find a site. I await your response and thanks so much for this help.
it is not so easy to download a site that offers movies to
download because the may have access restriction streaming content.....and on top of all they will have VERY big files.
if they offer 20 movies in good streaming format this will take about 40 hours of download at full speed.......
never the less try to use the copernicus agent to find your site.....
what nimrod (the LORDs hunter ) was suggesting is that you use a peer to peer client (P2P) to download movies
such as Kazaalite... emule... or BITTORRENT......
but they will not help you to find the website you are looking for....
to get started with P2P I will only post a link site, since forum rules prohibit to post direct links to propably pirated movies.....
Thanks so much, I'll give it a try. If you come up with anything else, please let me. None of the major search engines carry this site and I located it more than once, but had to postpone reading it and so I reserved it as a Bookmark, and when I went back every possible contact URL registered 'Not Found', which puzzles me: how can it be found on several days and then 'Not Found' after that. A mystery too big for me. But thanks again for your help, as I said, I'll try your advice. I appreciate it.
I've just tried www.copernic.com/en/indes.htm, both with the help of lycos search engine and google, with only successfully finding a software search and sales company---nothing that will help me search the web for a site. Is there another suggestion? Thanks
Hehe I could download sites using Frontpage 98 using the Open Web feature. Type in the URL. I am not sure if that will pick up anything else besides the .HTM(L) files.
I've just tried my cousin's frontpage98 with no help for specifically this site; got another suggestion. Could you answer this questio: how can the page 'Not Found' appear o after 3 days of 'Found'---does the proprietor of the page cancel access or does the server or does some one else, if the last who could that someone be?
Ah, now that's interesting; that may be what had happened in this case. I don't know. I never really had time to look at their VCD list, I postponed, the influx of messages were too many and I respond when I can (but it has just occurred to me: when the ISP discovers this, doesn't it place ('access blocked' or 'account suspended'---something that indicates the account was discontinued, not just 'Not Found'---if your response is, 'Depends.' On what?). I'd like to give them (unitedstahls) another look, I really don't think they were illegal, but I guess I'll never have a chance---their lost out there some place, I guess.
Thanks for your time...and trouble.
Dazzle was purchased by Pinnacle. Internally the forums were notified the Dazzle website was being closed...but when they shut it down last week you didn't get any forwarding info...just that garbage you are seeing that says the site doesn't exist.
I guess like Dazzle 'Unitedstahls' is hidden out there somewhere under a rock in that network wasteland. There should be some way to find that 'unitedstahls'; I have nothing that convinces me that it doesn't still exist. Not all the sites that you can download repeatedly show up in a search engine. How would they be found if not on a recommendation list? There should be (again) a cross-reference guide for such sites as Dazzle and Unitedstahls (if it really is changed) and I thought there would be. I thought there were those who could find things that I couldn't, just by using the same methods that are at my disposal--- that I just was not informed enough to know how to find them. (Even if it was illegal---that in itself would not be a criteria I would use not to look at it.) Should be, should be...should be an expert out there that has the answer, too.
Thanks
