    HELP -- Contrast , brightness,.... ???????? -- HELP

well as nobody answer in the french forum i'm gonna ask in here

Ok i used to have a codec that allowed me to settle contrat or brightness and color for the video i thought it was in the G400 codec but it's not.

Anyone has an idea aboout how to do that ? i have a Gforce 5200
and i'm talking only for the setting concerning video like avi mpeg or divx...
i was able to select in the settting of the codec all those.
Unfortunnately i had a crash disk recently and i dunno what codec it was
i already install ffdshow btu i can't find back how to make video bright and so on.....

    Ty froo your help

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but if you wish to set the TV controls before you render, under the advanced settings tab of TMPGenc you can adjust color, brightness, contrast, etc. when you make your MPEG2 DVD/SVCD or MPEG VCD.

well in fact i use to watch divx or svcd on my tv. So it's not a question of ripping or anything like that.

Just when i play a video on my pc to watch it on tv for some reason video is sometimes too dark so i used to settle brigthness of the video maybe true the player or true the video codec. And i dunno hwo exactly i can do that.
Even when i was watching mpeg with mplayer if for some reason the mpeg was too dark i was ablle to lighten it..
that's all i would like to do

Is it more clear like that ?
