    logo/watermark

-is there a way to put watermark over movies file (all kinds of movies)
    ?

2- how can i join movie files together (all formats too)

    thanx in Advance

    S'

    Setarip said that

Both can be accomplished in VirtualDub.

For the logo/watermark application to your .AVIs, you'll first have to download Donald Graft's logo filter and install it in VDub. You can obtain this filter at:

"but i only want to put the logo for the first 2 minutes"

This may look like it's complex when you read it, but it's really quite simple:

    1) For safety's sake, first make a backup copy of your .AVI.

    2) Load the file into VirtualDub (set both "Video" and
    "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy")

    3) From the "Edit" dropdown menu, do the following:
    Select "Go to beginning".
    Select "Set selection start"
Select "Go to" - and enter 2:00 in the time option. Press "OK"
    Select "Set selection end"

    4) Save this two minute .AVI as a new name.

    5) Go to "Edit" and select "Delete frames"

    6) Save this remaining portion (which is now the entire .AVI less the first two minutes) with yet another new name.

    7) As a precaution, exit VirtualDub.

    8) Run VirtualDub anew.

    9) Load your two minute exposition .AVI.

    10) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Filters" and select Donald's logo/watermark filter. I presume that by now, you know how to use it, so I'll simply say "apply the logo to this two minute .AVI"

    11) From the "Video" dropdown, select the same compression codec and settings that you used for the original .AVI.

    12) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "Save as .AVI" and use yet another new name.

    13) Once again, exit and then rerun VDub.

    14) Load your watermarked two minute file.

    15) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "Append .AVI" and load the remaining portion of the file that you created in 6) above.

    16) Save as a (final) new name.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

After you initially load the file into VirtulDub, from the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information". Although it won't tell you the specific settings you used with the codec, it will tell you which codec you used. If you select that codec and leave it at the default settings, you should be okay.

            To benderman

Guess you didn't read the original post, where Sherif stated:
