problem playing dvds

this sucks, i've been getting a stupid problem while watching dvds.

i went to the help section and it says that i have to download a dvd decoder, so i downloaded powerdvd and it still doesn't work.

Play the DVD under PowerDVD, NOT Windows Media Player...

yeah i know, i tried using powerdvd and windvd, both don't work, i get some kind of internal error FF0000:X or something like that
