Codec for wmv?

Codec for wmv?

Im having a huge problem. When I play a wmv file I only get the sound, the rest is black. Do I need some codec or what is wrong?

dont know exactly but might be the new wmv codec integrated in windows xp (WMV 8)

u can download a codec package for Media Player from microsoft.com, just search in the downloads section for codec or so
