    Audio Sync Problem

    hi there, i have the movie zoolander, and there happens to be a problem somewhere around in the movie, about 21 minutes into the movie the screen garbles up, now ive made it into a dvd once already and things were fine up untill this point, i checked the source file before the encoding was done and indeed found this problem, now my problem is how do i get that fixed, i used virtual dub and i dubbed it first, then i simply went into Tmpgenc and did the stuff i needed to do, and yeah, its just getting frustrating now. also whats with this "analyzing" crap it gives me, i did zoolander fine without the analyzing, now i cant really do any movie with out it doing this. Thanks

    there are two possible procedures to fix your problem....
    only dubbing with Virtualdub won´t fix your problem.....

    method 1 using virtual dub....

    load your Original AVI of zoolander into virtual dub....
    (i hope it does not pop up an errormessage about VBR now)

    from the Video dropdown menue select "scan videostream for errors".

    after the scan is done go to the EDIT dropdown menue and hit "mask selected frames"....
    go back to Video dropdown menue and hit direct stream copy.
    go to audiodropdown menue and hit direct stream copy.

    go to filedropdown menue and save as avi with a new filename.

    use this new avi as a source for Tmpeg......

    method 2.

    load your avi into "Video Fixer" or "AviFix" (both can be obtained
    at www.divx-digest.com --->software)

    let it repair it while making sure not to overwrite the original file.

    use the new avi as a source fot Tmpeg!!

    good luck!!
