Divx Problem

I have a Sony Ericsson P800 that uses only Mpg4 format for the video playback. I have some short footage (30 secs long) that I want to transfer to the phone but no matter what I try, I can't seem to get my footage converted to Mpeg4. I've downloaded a number of convertors but nothing seems to work. Any Ideas ?
