I have 3 dvds that are damaged. So i downloaded those movies, but of coarse they are avi files. i don't even want to burn them just watch them on my com media player won't play them now what!!!!

In Explorer, ightclick on the file and select "Properties". Then click on the "Details" tab. Or load the file into VirtualDub and selct "File Information" from the "File" dropdown menu.
