    FFDShow settings recommendations

    Hi

I was just wondering what other people find are the optimal settings in FFDShow for quality.

Post-processing definitely should be enabled. Slide the slider to the max (right-most). Ticking the 'Automatic Quality Control' box will also enable FFDShow to adjust the level of post-processing according to available CPU cycle (so you won't have FFDShow and whatever-other-programs-you-have-running-in-the-background fighting for resources).

The Resize & Aspect tab can provide some interesting results, albeit of slight visible benefit. Use 1024x768 or, if your CPU can handle the load, 1280x960 and use the Lanczos method for Resize settings.

    Regards.
