I got many clips (each about 140 mb) of a tv serial in avi-format. now I want to burn as much as possible on one cd as vcd. what I have to do ?

140 MB AVI tells me it's a half hour program (around 22 minutes in real time without comercils).

I never have ever messed with VCD but if you use S-VCD you would get 2 episodes per CD. It's probly about the same on VCD (perhaps 3 per CD)

Last time I messed with converting AVI to S-VCD I just used InterVideo WinDVR. That program has a nifty transcoder that will convert the file to mpeg in many formats (including DVD) with good results and decent speed.
