    No Output Audio with TMPGEnc

The output file i get with TMPGEnc doesnt have any audio and I dont know how to fix it. I would appreciate it if someone helps me and tells me what to do. The DirectShow Multimedia Priority is set to 2 and I do have FFDShow installed. I searched to see if there were any posts that could help me related to this but I couldnt find any so my apologiez to post again if it already has been discussed.

    1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

If you have a FULL version of WinDVD installed, download and use DVD Genie to register the WinDVD filters to Windows - then reboot.

If not, download and install an .AC3 codec - then reboot...

Are you converting an AVI file to MPG? Or what is it you are doing with TMPGEnc?
When I had downloaded one of the recent updates I found that it provided an option at the last phase as to whether I wanted the files combined or separated into audio and video files. I didn't realize this until after I found my finished file didn't have any audio either.

Yes, I'm trying to convert an AVI file to MPG. I don't know wether TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 is the latest or not.

I suspect you are experiencing the same problem I did. It is really quite simple, almost embarrasing. If it is, just pay attention when you get to the last screen (I believe) where it asks you want name you want to save you file as. There should be a check box asking whether you want to create separate audio and video streams.

Well I know what you're talking about but that's not it, I don't even have the option to check it.

Does the box show as already checked, indicating that separate files will be created?

No it doesn't, but am I supposed to enable "Create another project(s) for batch encoding" ?
