    2 mpgs -> 1 compiled avi

    how do i join movie files and compile them to fit a cd?
    i have 2 mpg files but virtual dub dosnt recognize them, (vdub recognizes all other files, and premiere recognizes the mpgs).

    what programs do i use to do this. also would it be possible
    to just stream audio so u dont need to compress them again?

    They are probably MPEG-2s. Use VirtualDubMOD instead of the standard VirtualDub...

      vdubmod

      VirtualDubMOD wont let me append segments, the option is greyed out, why would that be?
      And where do u set audio direct stream w/o an audio menu?

        Did you install everything found at the VDMod download site ( Including the needed dll's and avisynth)and have them unzipped in the same folder? Never-the-less, if all you want to do is join a couple of mpegs, download the freeware HJSplit....rename the mpg's to Movie.mpg.001 and Movie.mpg.002 and join.
