I'm using VirtualDub 1.5.9 to encode some things, some mpg to avi and some avi to avi to reduce file size. But with everything I've tried so far, Vdub stops encoding them at about 1/3-1/2 of the way through. It continues to run, but the video rendering rate drops to 0.0 fps and doesn't start going again. When I close Vdub after it fails I get this message
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'xvid'.
any suggestions?
I've tried using both the Xvid compression and Divx compression and it freezes with both. this happens with every file I have tried. I've included a screen capture of the File information box for one of the files. any help is appreciated
