WMP question -- ?

Is it possible to play quicktime and realplayer files in Windows Media Player without installing the quicktime or realplayer players? I would simply like for the codecs to be accessible through WMP. If this is possible, how do I set it up?

No. Real and .MOV files have their own player. You can convert them both with EO...then you can play them with WMP.

It would be much more conveinent to modify WMP so that it can play .mov, .rm, and .ram files rather than convert every file i download. I'm sure it's possible to create such a modification, but I don't think anyone has done it yet. I detest realone player, and the quicktime player is inconveinent to use.

Media Player Classic will play both real and quicktime movies.

there is a small codec pack from ace that has the rm and quicktime vodec that will let you watch rm and mov files with media player classic.
