    ac3 playable on DvD players

    Can someone please tell me how i can make a Ac3 file play on a standered dvd player i am trying to make music in 5.1 surround

    Are you trying to make a "DVD audio" only disk, or is there video also?

      I am trying to make a dvd audio only disc with no video Ive got as far as make multi-track ac3 files useing soft encode and acid pro but i cant get the ac3 files on the disk to where i can play them on my dvd audio player I dont know how they need to be set up on the disk

          Have you tried just putting the ac3 file in a folder called "AUDIO_TS" (All Caps) and a burning that to see if it works?

                  pls remember dvd-audio is specific to dvd players supporting the format ...means not all will play it.
                  Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
