DVD+ and DVD- advice please!

I have just bought a DVD+ burner and have since found that DVD+ discs are much more difficult (and more expensive) to get hold of (in Thailand, anyway). Three questions: 1) Does anyone know which disc, the+ or -, will "win" the market in the end? 2) Does anyone know why I am having to pay more for the + disc than the - ? 3) Should I have bought a DVD - burner?

No - you should have purchased a DUAL format burner (burns BOTH DVD+R and DVD-R)...
