I have tried to jump around this topic many times now...and I have given up.....I guess this will be my last time asking. I need a DV codec that gives a 720 x 480 res. and 29.97 frames per sec. I do not have a TV card. I am trying to export video to my camcorder through firewire using either Premier or VideoWave4. I have been totally unsuccessful and I have tried Virtual Dub and TMPGenc. I know that many of you have suggested TV cards...yet I don't have one, but I would like to transfer video from my computer to my camcorder so I can then later connect the camcorder to my television. I have a Sony Camcorder (NTSC)....Adaptec DV PICS PLUS.....VideoWave4 and Premiere. I do not have a Sony computer. If anyone has suggestions on how to transfer the video I would greatly appreciate it. thanks.
