    MPEG CUtter Help.

    Someone please help.. I copied a DVD into an MPRG file its huge so trued to cut it in half using Virtual Dub but that doesnt work coz that only does avi or Divx Files.

    Is there anything that cuts mpeg files into half?

    Cheers

    Use TMPGEnc:

    File>>MPEG Tools>>Merge&Cut

    Make certain to download and install BOTH TMPGEnc and its companion VFAPI plugin.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

        VCD Cutter may be a bit faster than TMPGEnc but it doesn't produce 100% compliant MPEG files so I would suggest TMPGEnc only to cut MPEG files as well

          emmmmmmmmmmmm
          well i have 32 vcds that say vcd cutter does a spot on job whats more is tmpgenc when i do the second half it does audio,video and when it comes to writting it to file (saving the cut) i get clamp down and it says not responding. this happens everytime fair enough it will probabley cos i only have pent 3 450 and about 300 meg but have not everyone has a gig and alf with 500mram
          so in my case and simular cases vcd cutter is better.
