    Dvd

    Hi. Help needed.

Just brought a dvd rewriter. A liteon 811S i think. I have upgraded the firmeare etc.

I use dvd shrink and Nero 6 to burn.

The problem i am getting is the dvd disk wont play on my dvd player which is a panasonic RV41. It has been set to any region. There is the movie on the disk and this plays through the computer. I use minus format disks. I have tryed several brand names of disk but still to no avail. If someone eles burns a disk that plays. And if i use a DVDRW disk that plays on my DVD player.
    Pulling my hair out.

Can anyone help with the above.

    Many Thanks in advance

maybe too trivier, but just incase, u need a dvd structure tobe burnt for dvd player to recog. it.

thats AUDIO_TS , VIDEO_TS folders should be present.

.bup,.ifo,.vob should be present in the VIDEO_TS folder. AUDIO_TS should be empty.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

Are you sure that you used "DVD-Video" mode in Nero when you burned your disk?

Strange! .. according to http://www.dvdrhelp.com./dvdplayers....h&orderby=Name it's rewritables that seem to be the problem with your Panasonic. The DVDRW you say work are ones you've burned?
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

Yes. It works with the DVDRW iburn. Also if somebody eles burns a disk that also works on the Panasonic. But if i copy or encrypt it the copy i burn does not.
