Screen vibration while playing xvid files

Some movies show a strange vibration when playing them. Does anyone have any idea why this happens? I'm using bsplayer 0.86.

Looks like your particular XviD video has been compressed with the latest XviD v.1.0 (Beta), and you are using an older decoder or FFDShow version.

In that case, download and install the said latest XviD codec and ensure that its decoder is the default one.

I'm sorry, but how do i make sure that it is the default decoder for the system?

Download and install the latest XviD codec (Beta 3 from Koepi, as of time of posting). If you have anything that handles XviD files, such as FFDShow, disable it. That should do the trick.
