WMV PROBLEM....is the answer staring me in the face?

hi, i am unable 2 play WMV (downloaded), video files at HIGH BITRATES. A 126Kbps works fine, however, all i see with a higher bitrate E.G - 356Kbps is a 'slide show', where many frames are missed out. Although, the sound using such Kbps is excellent. I don't have any problems with any other 'format' - just the wmv high bitrate. thanks in advance 4 any advice etc.

I believe that due to advanced trechnology in WMV, it requires more processing to play good. Maybe you have an outdated equipment. I have no trouble playing WMV9 350k on my 633mhz Celeron crapputer

        Cant help myself!

Imagine what you can do with a newer puter!

I was recently at a customers fixing a Novell 3.12 file server (running since 1993) that had begun crashing. the Pentium 133mhz was doing great. And the customer said the video worked fine on the workstations. (dont ask)

The cheapest box I could get them was a $399 Celeron 2.52Ghz. When I'd completed the port over, her weekend report which took 2.5 hours ran in 6 mins. No bull.

She asked me if I was sure all the numbers were still there ...

        ok... just thought I'd share.
