I'm using the latest version of dvdx to make divx movies... but the size is too large.. does anyone know of any ways of correcting my settings to get a sindle cd file, without giving up too much in the picture detail. thanks.....

Which divx codec are you presently using? Also, how large is your initial movie? -
I'm using Divx 5, the size is roughly a gig for a 90min. movie. I know it can be done , I've seen excellant rips and longer movies compressed to 700mgs. thanks for your helpComment
