Ripping Soundtrack from DVD to mp3 (or AVI)

My kiddos bought me a concert DVD for Christmas and I would like to be able to listen to the only the soundtrack. Are there any easy (or difficult, for that matter) ways to rip the soundtrack into AVI or MP3 format?

    thanks

Hi there Taxes_stink (and your right about that), you could Rip the VOB's off the DVD to your hard drive using a ripping program of your choise such as Smart Ripper, than convert and split the video and audio files up, i use DVD2AVI to do this. Once this has been done you should have a WAV file (audio) which you can than edit/filter/convert to MP3 if your choose and burn to disc.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers
