Can anybody tell me what software I need to use to watch SVCD. I tried it with window media play and Powerdvd but none of it works.

powerdvd will play ur svcd movies/disks.
u sure the disk u have is svcd, what folders/files inside the cd?
what error ur getting?Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

yes i'm sure it's svcd. it has mpeg 2, svcd, and ext inside the cd. the error i'm getting is "DVD-Video playback graph could not be built due to insufficient decoders"Comment

uninstall power dvd delete the folder, install again, if still get problems install windvd or nvdvd. though reinstalling powerdvd should work. incase of older version get new ver 5 trial and check.Originally posted by wusfootball
