Can DVD players play avi files
I have a realmagic DVD card & DVD drive in my computer and the software for the realmagic DVD will not open my avi files (only mpeg's & VCD) I am wondering if standard DVD players play avi files. I suppose I need to purchase a TV out card to watch the avi files on my TV. another think I have PowerDVD and it will only look for vcd's in my drive not from my hard drive any other dvd software which will open files from the hard drive.
