    Problems with merging 2 AC3-Divx

    Hi,
i ve tried serveral merges with AC3-Sound in my DIVX, and normaly it works fine. But now theres are two DIVX-Files with AC3 Sound, where is no sound after merging them together. in the old 2 parts the sound is ok, but after merging them together, there is no sound anymore.
I used VirtualDub to do so.
I used GSpot to find out something about the Codecs. In the old and the new merged Divx it says "AC3-Sound" , Codec installed. But when i try to (test)render the merged file (in GSpot) the line with the sound render information is empty. Whats wrong ?!
    Any hints for me ?

    Thanks and regards

Use Nandub. Open your DivX movie. Under the video tab, make sure its set to Direct stream copy. Then go to the audio tab.

Select AC3 audio and select your AC3 file. Then a window should appear showing you the details of the file.

After that you have to go select Interleaving from the Audio drop down menu.

You can set the "Interleave audio every" somewhere around 80 ms or anywhere in between 96 and 64 ms to avoid choppy playback.

If your audio track has a delay, you should enter the value in the "Audio skew correction" box. If you used DVD2AVI to extract your AC3 file, the filename should have the delay value in it. Don't forget to put the sign in too.

Go to File and select "Save AVI" and in a few minutes your movie will be multiplexed.

        Visit the following link:

Download AVI Revolution, a software that can generate one avi based on a low and a high bitrate DivX AVIs
